Dr Aruna DS is a dental public health consultant and tobacco cessation specialist at Bengaluru , Karnataka, holds Certification in Tobacco Cessation, including Smokeless tobacco (WHO FCTC, ICMR-NICPR), and from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, IDA, ICanCaRe GUJARAT UNIVERSITY

Accreditation. She holds certification in the Foundation of Addiction Medicine and Advanced Course in Management of Addictive Disorders from (VKN-NIMHANS), Bengaluru.
She is trained in Cancer screening for Dentists (ACSTP-03) from ICMR-NICPR Noida in collaboration with NDDTC-AIIMS, Ghaziabad
